Our name says it all, we're in this for the common good of everyone. We’re more than just a local coffee and boutique coworking space, we’re actively trying to do good in the neighborhood to help others out.

Our loyal customers know that central to our mission is leveraging the power of a cup of coffee for generosity. There is a tradition among the working class in Naples, Italy called caffè sospeso (suspended coffee). It’s a simple act of charity, where a patron pays the price of two coffees but receives and consumes only one. Someone in need can inquire later whether there was a sospeso available, and then they will be served a coffee for free.
Inspired by this tradition, we invite our customers to order a “Common Good Coffee” (hot or iced coffee) if they’re feeling generous. They’ll be charged for two coffees, with the proceeds of the second cup going to a local non-profit organization. The best part? They get to choose where the money goes! A token will be given to the customer, and they can place it in the bin of one of the non-profits being featured on our giving wall.
